Globally, almost half of all companies expect automation to cut their full-time workforce in the next four years. However, new jobs could still lead to a net gain in employment opportunities if sufficient reskilling is done. Anxiety about the impact of technology on the world of work is not new. While a lot of global forums, organisations and associations have given a sense of where we might be headed, we are all still exploring, second-guessing and worried about what the future of work looks like.
